CHANNEL TUNNEL IDEA

LONDON, March 17. A group of members of Parliament, under Mr. Christopher Shawcross, has been formed to try to interest Parliament in the advantages of building a tunnel between England and France, says Reuters. The group intends presenting a report underlining the financial, political and scieintific advantages ’of a tunnel, which, it is estimated, would take six years to build.
