Referees’ Meeting
The annual meeting of the Buller Rugby Referees’ Association was held at Westport on Saturday evening, Mr F. Foote presiding over an attendance of ten members.
The following new referees were elected: Messrs H. Williams, shall, L. Eddy, T. Coyne and G. Mason. The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows: — President, Mr F. McGreevy; vicepresident, Mr R. Pratt; secretary, Mr L. Eddy; delegate to Buller RugbyUnion, Mr 11. Casey; delegate to annual meeting of New Zealand Referees’ Association, Mr R. Pratt. Prior to the election, Mr F. Foote resigned from the Association on account of his being transferred from the district, and the opportunity was taken of tendering him a farewell.
