Mr John O’Regan, of Cronadun, is visiting Westport.
Mr E. Comerford, of Hokitika, is visiting his parents at Westport.
The death occurred with tragic suddenness' at the residence of his sister, Mrs W. Collins, early yesterday morning, of a well-known resident, Mr Leo Williams, son of the late Mr and Mrs John Williams,- old residents of Westport, and a grandson of the late Mr Thomas Dolman, one of the early editors of the Charleston Herald. Deceased was 52 years of age, and had resided in this town all his life.. He was at one time a prominent member of the Fire Brigade, and was interested in all forms of sport. The late Mr Williams is survived by one sister, Mrs W. Collins, and two brothers, Thomas (Westport), and George (Australia), to whom the sympathy of the community i.s extended.
