GREY YACHT CLUB
An Idle Along class race for the P. J. McLean Cup was sailed yesterday afternoon on the Grey River course, under the auspices of the Greymouth Yacht Club. Seven craft competed in ideal conditions, there being a flood tide, with a fairly westerly breeze. The race was full of interest and resulted as follows.-■ Idle Hour, (Doug Smith), handicap Imin, 1. Time: 1 hour Omin lsec. Vagabond, (D. Hodgkinson), 1« min, 2. Time: 1-1-44. Mascott, (W. Longstaff), scr. 3 Time: 1-2-22. Popeye, (Eric Smith), Imin, 4; 1-2-50. Pastime. (H. Clifford), Umin. 5; 1-3-45. Listless, .(H. Longstaff), 2min, 6; 1-4-32. Ellie, (H. Hansen). 3min, 7; 1-5-20.
