GREY FLOWER SHOW

Exhibits at St. John’s HIGH STANDARDS REALISED The annual St. John’s daffodil show, which was .held yesterday in St. John’s Hall, proved’ that unfavourable weather had in no way affected the produce of exceptionally fine blooms, and the standard of display was correspondingly high, in spite of the fact that in some sections competition had been limited. The judges, Mr W. Buchanan (daffodils and cut flowers) and Mrs S. F. White and Miss F. Broad (decorative section) commented' favourably on the staging of the blooms.
