Military Court SENTENCES 164 MEMBERS TO DEATH OR LONG IMPRISONMENT (Rec. 6.30). LONDON, August 27. Moscow radio has announced: A military court, at Katowice, has sentenced to death eight Poles who were among the defendants.' in a trial of 164 members of the Polish Underground, the N.S.Z., which is a terrorist organisation operating against the Warsaw Government. One Pole was sentenced to life imprisonment. The remaining 155 Poles were sentenced to imprisonment. The terms range from ten years to fifteen years.
