GREEK DISMISSAL
OF LABOUR CONFEDERATION (Rec. 5.30) LONDON, Aug. 10. The Greek Council of State, which is the final appeal authority, has rejected an appeal by former leaders of the Greek Confederation ot Labour against their dismissal by the Government. Reuter’s Athens correspondent stated: The Government has acted under the decree of July 26 declaring the Federation’s executive to be illegal, although the Executive was elected in March in the presence of British, French and Russian representatives of the World Federation of Trades Unions, which recognises the dismissed Greek council.
