YESTERDAY’S APPLICATIONS The following applications were dealt, with at yesterday’s sitting of the No. 3 Transport Licensing Authority (Mr. S. V. Raines):— J. D. Suckling, Otira (Mr. W. D. Taylor) application for transfer of continuous goods license to S. h • Benger.—Decision reserved pending settlement of the matter of goodwill. J. Hannah, Kopara (Mr. C. McGinley), application for renewal of a continuous goods service license with an amendment to include from the timber mill at Kopara Road i“ Ahaura railway station and Roa coal mine, carrying timber. —Adjourned sine die. Associated Motorists Petrol Co. Ltd'. (Mr. M. B. Scully) application for new continuous goods service license, with one vehicle authority, for the cartage of petrol in bulk, and oil, in the Grey and Westland counties, and portions of the Inangahua and Buller counties to include Reefton, Inangahua and Westport.— Granted. C. Prestidge, Greymouth, application for a continuous goods service license with one vehicle authority for the cartage of Public Works Department materials in' the No. .12 Highways District.—Adjourned sine die.
