MIKHAILOVITCH TRIAL

LONDON, June 23. Ex-King Peter’s A.D.C., Colonel Kosta Mu&hicki, one of the men accused with General Mikhailovitch of collaboration and other war crimes, declared in the witness box that he took a part “parallel with Germans,” in fighting for the salvation of the Yugoslav people. Reuter’s Belgrade correspondent said: The prosecution described Col. Mushicki as organiser and commander of the Serbian Voluntary Command, which was alleged to have helped the Germans to massacre 70,000 partisan youths in one operation in October, 1941. Serbs, under Col. Mushicki’s orders, also participated with the Germans in acts of violence at Venezia Giulia Springs in 1945.
