RUGBY SUB-UNION MEETS. I Our Own Correspondent]. REEFTCN, May 15. At a meeting of the Inangahua Rugby Sub-Union held recently, the following were present: Messrs A. G. Reid (chair), R. McKane, C. Free, S. Whitehead, H. Booth, T. Dellaca, E. Burns, J. Coghlan, J. Crossman, G. E. Scott and B. E. Cook. Inangahua Junction Club’s affiliation was accepted and the colours, scarlet and gold, were approved. It was decided to accept a game against Cobden Club on Saturday, when the selectors would be present to view the Inangahua players. The match was arranged for 2.30 p.m. Mr. J. Crossman being appointed referee, local manager of the visiting team, A. G. Reid, Inangahua team manager, T. Dellaca and line umpire, C. Free. It was arranged that the Inangahua team assemble at the Gladstone Hotel at 1.45 p.m.

The Inangahua team is as follows: R. McKane; D. Cartwright,. L. Fitzgerald, J. Naylor, P. Cutbush, D. Scott, A. Watson (captain), L. Coghlan, E. Storey, T. Chandler, A. Bannan, A. Little, K. Hausseman, P. Burrows, M. Murphy (vice-captain). Emergencies: Bishpan, T. Smith, Neiper and Rosanowski.

Fixtures for Sunday were arranged as follows: —Waratah v. United, at Reefton, at 2.30 p.m. (W. Hunt); Cronadun v. Waiuta at Waiuta, at 2.30 (J. Dellaca); Inangahua Junction v. Murchison, at Junction, 2.30. It was decided to thank Mr. C. F'oulter for cutting the grass on the field, and a working bee was arranged to erect a fence to keep the spectators off the field.

Mr. A. H. Lawn, an original member of the gymnasium committee, Wrote complimenting the Sub-Union on retaining ownership of the Gymnasium for which he, with others, commenced working forty years ago. It was decided to thank Mr. Lawn for his niterest in the Sub-Union affairs. It was reported referees’ jerseys and monograms would be available lyIt was decided to procure a first aid outfit and ask Mr. P. Gilmour to take charge. Mfessrs S. Whitehead and H. Ward were nominated by the Junction Club as referees. GOLF MATCH.

The following players will compete in a medal match on Saturday at the Waitahu golf links: Mrs. Eklund v. Mrs. Strachan, Mrs. Duff v. Mrs. Sharpe; Miss King v. Miss O’Grady; Mrs. Yellowlees v. Miss Williams; Mrs. Patterson v. Mrs. Reichenbach; Mrs. Mulligan v. Miss Patterson; Miss Lockington v. Mrs. August; Miss Bierwirth v. Scorer.
