PALESTINE QUESTION

LONDON, May 15

King Farouk of Egypt, has invited all Arab rulers to meet and examine the Palestine question. El Arish, in Sinai, has been suggested as the venue for the conference. The Arab League has announced that it will meet on May 22 at Damascus to discuss the Anglo-American Committee’' report. The Arab High Committee has decided to ask the Government to dissolve the Jewish Agency, on the ground that it is helping illegal immigration and is a source of trouble in Palestine. The British Foreign Office said the Government is continuing its examination of the Anglo-American Committee’s report, and will not announce its decision until it has consulted me United States Government and also the leaders of both the Arabs and Jews.
