Drastic N.S.W. Measures nine NEW~CASES~IN SYDNEY.

(Rec. 10.30.) SYDNEY, May 16 Drastic measures to combat the outbreak of infantile paralysis were anounced to-day by the State Government. Six iron lungs are being rushed to the city from country hospitals. , . , Public appeals are being made to enlist the aid of extra nurses. Plans to take over the Anzac Buffet and other wartime buildings, if necessary, are well forward. A daily conference of authorities will co-ordin-ate efforts. Nine new cases are reported to-day.
