General situation: A complex depression is developing in the central Tasman Sea. An anti-cyclone extends across the South Tasman Sea on to the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m. on Thursday: Light to moderate and variable winds. Weather: Fair to fine, with moderate day temperatures. , Further outlook: Probably fair.
