Metropolitan T.C. WIN FOR BURT SCOTT CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. The third day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s Easter meeting was held at Addington today in showery weather. The track was in good order and there was a large attendance. Burt Scott won his first race for over two years when he staged a bn - Sant run over the last half-mile, to win the Easter Handicap, the principal race at Addington to-day, by a head from Happy Man, which tried to lead Sy all the way. Burt Scott's perlomance was the more mgltonous because he broke and lost JO ya'ds at the start. When the field had settled down, Burt Scott had Happy Man Parshall, Clockwork, Shadow Maid, Dusky Sound, Integrity and Haughty in front of him. Even with six furlongs to go, Burt Scott was back in eighth place and the stamina and speed he showed in the final round to win drew appreciation from le crowd. Happy Man, Shadow Maidl and Clockwork also raced well.
