Mr Hugh Delacy, a Democratic member of the House ot Represent—fives, speaking at a conference of teachers said that the American mibtarv authorities had fifteen hundred atomic bombs stored up, and America was producing more. He said that the “small, reactionary clique in the United States was doing everything possible to sow distrust between Russia and America. For example the current spy scare was used to cieate ill-feeling toward Russia. Newspapers throughout the country,were attacking Russia, trying to stir up distrust and suspicion.” He added: “Cur war college is studying strategy lo be used, if we go to war with Russia.”
