DELUGE OF BEER

May Come to Sydney (Rec. 6.30). SYDNEY, March 31. Hotel licensees are confident that the beer shortage will end permanently soon after the strike is settled. They claim that the accumulated stocks of beer are now sufficient to enable the hotels to open for four hours daily. Other cities now have plenty of beer, and there is actually a considerable surplus in Adelaide. Breweries from other States are planning to flood Sydney with bottled beer as soon as the situation here eases.
