RACING & TROTTING

WELL BALANCED FIELDS AT OMOTO To-day’s Prospects With a better class of horse engaged, the Greymouth Jockey Clubs meeting which opens at Omoto today should provide an excellent da>’s sport. The track should not be greatly affected by the overnight rain, and is likely to provide a good footing.

Repetition of this form would give him an excellent chance.. The top weight, Gunga Din, is a good horse at his best, and if caught in the right mood will run a merry mil 1 , of the remainder.
