FOR NATIONAL SOCIALIST REPUBLIC. (Rec. 7.10.) LONDON, January 5. The Capetown “Sunday Times” says that, according to the Minister of Lands, Senator A. M. Conroy, whose statement the paper supported, “Fascism is still rife with the Orange Free State.” The “Sunday Times” says: “Among the extreme elements of Afrikaans population, Hitler has become a diety, and Nazi cells have been established in many parts. Regular meetings are being held with the object of establishing a National Socialist Republic in South Africa.”
