AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT ATTITUDE CANBERRA, Jan. 4 In reply to criticism that there had been no Australian honouis, Prime Minister Mr. J. B. Chifley said the Commonwealth Government had decided' not to award any New Year ■Honours. He personally agreed heartily with the collective Government. decision. Army officers m Melbourne said that 1946 Honours List was the largest ever submitted.
