PORTUGUESE CHOSEN
CONTROL OF TANGIER LISBON, October 4. The Portuguese Foreign Office has announced that Admiral Magalhaes Correia has been chosen by the Committee of Control for the post of Administrator of the Tangier International Zone, under the Allied agreement. Admiral Correia is aged 72. He has been Minister of Marine, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Colonies and also Governor of Mozambique.
