The advance averaged 5s a head. Fat. cattle recovered a drop of 20s made last week. Spring lambs: A draft of 24 sold from 32s Id to 45s Id, and the best price was 52s Id. Large vealers made IS 16s to £lO 13s 6d, others £5 16s to £8 3s 6d; best suckers £5 6s to £7 Is; medium £3 18s 6d to £5 3s 6d; large calves 55s to 755; medium 36s to 535; and small and rough 4s to 345.
