WEST COAST ASSOCIATION Mr. W: Meates presided over an attendance of the following delegates at the annual meeting of the West Coast Cricket Association: Mesrs W. Blair (United), C. Stone, W. Meates (re-elected'); vice-presidents, Messrs L. Hunter. J. R. Williams, L. P. Coffey (re-elected); H. N. Pyne; secretary, Mr. G. Sansom (re-elected); auditor, Mr. J. J. O Donnell (reelected); management committee,, Messrs Blair, Stone, Mathews, Knowles, O. Scott, J. Guy and Morris; postponement committee. Messrs. Sansom and Blair; delegate to New Zealand Council, Mr. 1. B. Cromb (re-elected); sole selector, Mr. G. Knapp. The Nev/ Zealand Council wrote asking if the Association was in favour of a resumption of Hawke Cup matches this season.—lt was decided to approve a resumption of the matches this season.

It was resolved' that clubs be asked to nominate teams on or before October 17, and that meetings of the management committee be held fortnightly, commencing on October 17. It was reported that there v>ere prospects of teams from Blackball, Kumara and Nelson Creek in addition to Cobden, United. Marist and Brunner, who played last season.
