RUGBY FOOTBALL
Cobden and Celtic will provide the star turn at Rugby Park this afternoon. While CobdeYi will be favourites, it would be no surprise if the greens prevailed. They have a clever sei. of backs, and a weighty, wellbalanced pack. Whichever side wins, the public can be assured of an excellent exhibition of the popular Rushy code. Blaketown and St. Mary's will meet, at Hokitika, and here again an interesting game will bo provided. St. Mary’s have shown marked improvement, and will fully extend Blaketown, who will be without the services of Thomas. KiwiExcelsior should have no difficulty in defeating Rualapu at Hokitika. Albion (Christchurch) will meet Cobden juniors at Cobden, while Sydenham 'Gb”'.’fchur-’h) wil’ nmet Tech ibh-ri graders at Rugby Park.
