DAIRY CATTLE SALE
The National Mortgage and Agency Co., Ltd., report that a sale of dairy cattle was held on account of Mr G. Manship, Harihari, on his property, on Wednesday last. There w'ere 23. cows and six heifers offered to a fair attendance of farmers from the surrounding districts. Bidding was not very keen, and only the. best types commanded good competition. The following is a list of the sales: —13 cows from £9 to £lO 15s each; 8 cows from £7 to £8 15s; 5 rising 2-year-old heifers realised up to £7 each.
