OKARITO NOTES
Mr. T: Mcßride, Wataroa, and a native of Okarito, has been visiting his old haunts, accompanied by Mr. W. Smith of Wataroa. Mr. Smith, Road, Service, has been visiting Okarito. Mr. Purcell has returned from a business visit to Hokitika. After a fortnight of frosts and sunny days, heavy rain has fallen during the week, with very heavy seas. The change may be beneficial to the beach-combers. The County Council workmen are at present repairing a bridge at the Five Mile, which will be an asset to the miners when finished.' A
