MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Mr. B. F. Connors presided over the weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the West Coast Rugoy League, also present were Messrs J. Oakley, J. Griffen, C. Stone, P. Sweetman, J. Anisy, W. Meates, L. Hunter. N. Messenger and T. F. McKenzie (Secretary). Motions of sympathy with the relatives of the late E. Bullimore, a former Rugby League player, the late Mrs. Trouland, and the Hopkins family were carried, members standing in silence. It was decided to lend a spare set of jerseys to a local Tira Cup team. Referees’ reports were received as satisfactory, and it was decided that in future the captain or coaches of all teams hand to the referee, before tho commencement of matches, a list containing the names and initials of all members of their teams. Gate monies were received as satisfactory, and showed a considerable increase on last year. Mr. F. Bernard was nominated as a referee by the Brunner Club. It was decided that schoolboy tootball commence with a field day to be held at Greymouth on Saturday next at 1.30. Motions of thanks were passed to Messrs J. Oakley ana C. Stone, who have donated medTs the most improved forward and hack in the schoolboys’ grades, and clubs will be asked to nominate suitaole persons to judge the allocation of the medals. The secretary was instructed to write to the South Auckland Rugby League, asking them to finalise arrangements fcr Ihe Huntlv team to play a selected team in Greymouth on the King’s Birthday. (Bluntly are to play Blackball at Blackball on June 3). It. was decided that the League take exception to the unsportsmanlike action of a section of the spectators at the Marist v. Runanga match played at Runanga, last week, such behaviour being viewed 'vith disfavour, and any repetition of such, it was resolved, would be dealt with on its merits.
