A number of thefts of money from milk billies which have been left out overnight have been reported lateiy, and in future a close watch is to be kept with a view to discovering offenders of this sort and bringing them-before' the Court. A warning has been issued to persons who pay for their milk in this way also, as the experience of those whose doorsteps have been visited by thieves shows that the practice might prove rather expensive in the long run.
