GENERAL ELECTIONS
NEXT MONTH IN CANADA OTTAWA, March 19 A Canadian general election will be held shortly after the Pariamentary term expires on April 17. The Evarl of Athlone, Governor General in his speech from the Throne, at the opening of the sixth session of the nineteenth Parliament made this announcement. The speech was one of the shortest on record. It referred to necessary financial provisions for the period until a i new Parliament opens. It urged the widest possible Parliamentary support to the Canadian delegation to the San Francisco conference,
