Fight for Liberation (Rec. 11.30). LONDON, March 19. The British Minister of Information, in a statement, says: It is estimated that fifty per cent, of the Roman Catholics and the lower clergy in the regions of north-eastern rta.y are working openly for the Committee of Liberation, and that a iurihei forty per cent, of the Catholics and clergy, are openly anti-Fascist. i ne resistance to the Germans in the*e areas is increasing, in spite of a growing number of arrests, and of more savage tortures and also executions. A Mediterranean communique says: There is no change m the situation on the Italian front. Tactical Air Force medium bombers continued the campaign to keep the Brenner supply line cut. Air forces flew more than 75 sorties. One of our aircraft is missing. (Rec. 10.30). LONDON, March 19. An Allied communique from Italy reports patrol activity on the Fitch and Eighth Army fronts.
