RAFFERTY BEATS HAEGG AGAIN) (Rec. 6.30)i . CHICAGO, March, 19 At the Chicago Stadium the Bankers' mile footrace was decided on Sunday. Rafferty and the Swedish crack Gundar Haegg were competitors. After leading for six out of the eleven laps, Haegg was beaten by Rafferty for the third time. Haegg took the lead at the halfway mark. Rafferty was then running last. Rafferty spurted in the final lap. and maghificiently beat Haegg by four yards in 263.7 secs, thus winning his eighth successive . race of the seasom
