FREEZERS “GO SLOW” P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, March 16. The Labour Department is in touch with. the Canterbury FreezingCompanies and the Union about the “go slow” in Canterbury freezing works, and is gathering information to show the course of action which should be followed. This information was given in a telephone interview this evening by the Secretary for Labour, Mr. H. E. Moston. It is 'understood that the Minister of labour, Mr. Webb, who has been unable to attend to his duties for some weeks because of his health, will be back at work again on Monday , There was no substantial change in the position to-day, except that the Kaiapoi freezing workers, who naa reduced their rate to four an hour, compared with the normal 12, had returned to eight an hour, the rate which has ben adopted by the Union as the standard for “go slow
