SCARE SOME POLITICIANS (Rec 1140) LONDON, March 15. A “Times” correspondent in Paris stated: Though members of the French Services are eligible to vote, they will not vote in coming local French elections. Th s decision is stated to be due solely to reasons of expediency, and it is true that, otherwise, it would be difficult to get the votin o, done in reasonable time, tout exclusion of the forces wpl ® striking consequences. With about two million Frenchmen in Germany, and nearlv a million undei aims, it is estimated that three-quarters of the electorate will be women, who will be voting for the first time in French history.
