REDEMPTORIST ORDER

Monastery at Christchurch P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, March 15. The Catholic Bishop of Christchurch. Right. Rev. Dr. P. F. Lyons, has-arranged for the Fathers of the Redemptorist Order to open a monastery in Christchurch. It is expected that they will take up residence next May, or June, at Woolston, where a property: has been given for the purpose. . The Redemptorist Order is wellknown throughout New Zealand, where the members have been conducting missions ' and retreats for many years. In 1905 they established St. Gerard’s monastery in Wellington.
