ROTOMANU SALE
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report a fair attendance of buyers at the Rotomanu sale held on Thursday. The entry in both the cattle and sheep, sections was larger than usual. Prices .generally; were on a par with market values, and although a number of cattle were passed, the clearance was a satisfactory one. Sales included the following: Account W. T. J'acobs: 19 lambs at 245, 11 ewes at 21s 6d; a/c D. Henry: 3 heifers from £9 2s 6d to £lO 17s; a/c Alf Rothery: 1 cow at £5 17s 6d; a/c Fred Hall: 1 heifer £6 12s 6d, 1 cow at £6 2s 6d; a/c W. Vallance: 3 cows at £6 2s. 6d; a/c R. Marley: 5 steers and heifers at £5 12s 6d; a/c J. A. Ryan: 5 cows from £4 2s 6d to £5 17s 6d, 3 heifers £7 7s 6d, 1 steer at £7 12s 6d; a/c John Graham: 1 cow at £4 12s 6d; a/c J. Maughan, senr.: 1 cow at £4 17s 6d; a/c J. Maughan, junr.: 3 cows from £4 12s 6d to £7 2s 6d; a7c Geo. Cowan: 1 cow al £7 12s 6d; a/c Heaphy and Costello: 4 heifers and cows from £5 5s to £7 12s 6d; a/c W. The National Mortgage and Agency Coy., Ltd., report on the above fixture held on Thursday last, as follows:— There was a large yarding of cattle and sheep offered to a good attendance of buyers. There was good demand for all lines of well bred steers and heifers, but secondary types of ■cows were not wanted, and were difficult to dispose of. There was a keen enquiry for fat lambs and breeding ewes. Our principal sales were as follows:—Account W. T.
