WEDDING
McINROE—MOORE The wedding was solemnised followed by Nuptial Mass on January 2, at the Barbadoes Street Cathedral, Christchurch, by the Rev. Father Joyce, of Dorothy Lois Moore, youngest. daughter of Mrs. T. Leary, of Christchurch to Arthur Eugeite, third son of Mrs. and the late Mr. G. B. Mclnroe, of Ikamatua. The bride, who was escorted by Mr. L. Morel, uncle of the bridegroom, looked charming in a gown of old ivory satin, patterned with frosted posies. The gown was cut on classic, lines with a heart-shaped neckline, which was finished with a diamante circlet brooch. The sleeves fell softly at the shoulders and ended in glove-fitting points over the hands. The long train cut in one fold with the bodice gave a regal sweep. She wore a lovely old ivory veil, embroidered in each corner with large circlets of Caramacross lace, and fell from a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried an armlet of begonias, gladioli, dahlias an da'sparagus fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Macel Sem, was daintily attired in an apricot sheer frock with a very full skirt, falling from a horizontal trick bodice, with puff sleeves. The square neckline was very effective with a lai iced roJeaux. She carried an armlet of deep apricot and russet begonias and pompom daisies, and wore a coronet of the same shading begonias. Mr. Mac Morel was best man. After the ceremony, the mother of the bride received the guests at the Mayfair Lounge wearing an attractive lagoon blue novelty suit, with lacquer red front. Mrs. Mclnroe, mother of the bridegroom, wore a model frock of navy. For travelling the bride chose a blue worsted tailored suit, blue felt hat and accessories.
