[Our Own Correspondent]. Mr. and Mrs. J. Bain, and family, are visiting Mrs Bain’s parents, at Kumara. Mr. Bain has just returned from three years’ service m the Middle East. . . Mr. Len Rickson is a patient in the Grey River Hospital. Mr. E. Rose, who has for several weeks been in the Grey River Hospital has sufficiently recovered to return home. , „ Many friends locally will be anxiously awaiting good news qi Flying Officer Les Martyn, who is reported missing in air operations in Europe. Mrs. W. J. McNabb, was a passenger by Thursday’s express to Christchurch. . . A v/ell attended meeting of the Dillman’s Tennis Club was held on the court, on Monday evening, when an infoiTnal discussion took place. Mr. R. FlcGrath was re-elected , s^ e ; ary and treasurer.
