WAITAHU CLUB Results of matches played at the week-end in the semi-finals for the club championships were: — Senior: N. Woods defeated W. J. Humphries 1 up at the 19th hole; C. D. Doyle defeated W. J. August 3 intermediate: F. J. Gallagher defeated Rev. Father O’Brien 5 and 4; T. Gilmer defeated R. Gilsenan 2 up. Junior: A. Lulham defeated K. Patterson 2 up. J. W. Osborne will play F. Collis during the week in the second junior semi-final. All finals will be played next week-end.
