WARTIME INCREASE IN U.S.A. (Rec 10.0). WASHINGTON, Sept. 25. A Labour Department survey shows that since Pearl Harbour more than six and a-half million women have joined" the Nation’s working force, over a half coming from home duties At June 31 working women totalled 161 million, compared with ten million a week before Pearl Harbour.
