TO-NIGHT’S TOURNEY The team of Wellington boxers who are to compete this evening against the cream of local talent, arrived yesterday, and in the evening worked out in the Albert Street gymnasium before a number of spectators, who were exceptionally impressed with the fitness and capabilities of the visitors. The teain is one worthy to represent the capital city. To-night’s programme should eclipse any staged here for a decade, including professional bouts. Owing to his being in an essential war occupation which at the last minute prevented his making the trip to Greymouth, Carl Nelson, the weight-lifter of Wellington, will not be able to give a display this evening. Disappointment, is. felt both fiy the Greymouth Association who looked forward to witnessing Mr. Nelson’s novel exhibition, and by the Wellingtonians who regarded him as an asset,
