McKenzie, of Stoke, io spending leave with her parents at R Mrs° n Mitchell has returned to Kokatahi, after visiting her sister, Mrs The following Rugby football team has been selected to represent Inan-o-ahva against Westport on Saturday afternoon, on the Reefton racecourse: J. Moko, A. Barnett, J. Cutbush, A. Lines, R. McKane (capt.), E Palmer, E. Newcombe, W. Hunt, C’ Carter, T. Chandler, W. Murphy, Bannon, L. Harris, R. Venis, McVicar. A curtain-raiser will be played between school teams. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Rugby Sub-Union, Mr F. Bonifacio was appointed local manager of the Westport team. A United Club offer of the use of jerseys for the match was accepted. Mr C. Barnett was appointed gatekeeper, and Mr J. Dellaca referee. It was decided to hold a.dance on Saturday night to entertain the visiting players. A Reefton fourth grade team was granted permission to travel to Greymouth at a later date.
The proceeds Of the W.W.S.'A. Ball to-morrow night will be donated to the Reefton District Ambulance Fund. The committee has made preparations to entertain a large number and as the cause is such a worthy one, their expectations should be fulfilled.
