The weather report for the West Coast is as follows: — Situation: An anti-cyclone is moving across the North Tasman, and a trough is advancing on to the South Tasman from the west. Forecast to 5 p.m. Thursday: Moderate variable winds, turning to north-west. , . - Weather: Fair to cloudy at first, but cloud increasing and rain developing in the south, towards the end of the period. Further outlook: Unsettled.
