BULGARIA SEEKS PEACE.

(Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 20. Turkey is acting intermediary _in peace talks which are reported going on with Russian approval between Bulgaria on the one hand and Britain and America on the other. A “Daily Express” Cairo correspondent. says: Secret talks are going on between Bulgarian envoys and British, American and Russian diplomats in a neutral country. Bulgaria forced the Germans to leave strategic points they had occupied throughout the country. This is one demand Russia made to Bulgaria as a preliminary to peace talks. The naval bases of Varna and Burgas are now free of German shipping and' the last German technical troops are leaving Bulgaria.
