BOXING

ROLLINSON BEATS HANHAM. In an uneventful bout last week, Doug Rollinson (Auckland) 12.31, outpointed Cliff Hanham (Duneidn.) 11.61 the New eZaland middle-weight and light-heavyweight champion, in a professional boxing bout at Dunedin, before an attendance of 2,500. Hanham, although lighter, was taller and rangier, but fought much below his former standard, being constantly beaten to the punch by Rollinson, who asserted his superiority from the first round. There was a good deal of indecisive hitting, ine title was not at stake, as Rollinson was above the light-heavyweignt weight limit. Rollinson is to meet G. Muir at Greymouth on Friday next.
