IN EAST POLAND AND EAST PRUSSIA ; TAus. & N.Z. Press Assn.l (Rec. 9.50) NEW YORK, Aug. 20. A London correspondent of 'the “New York Times” says: M. Stalin told M. Mikolajczyk (Polish Prime Minister) in their recent conferences at Moscow that, if he would be reasonable about Russian demands * for frontier revision in East Prussia up to the Curzon Line, the Red Army would extend Poland’s western frontiers to 'a line along (the Oder and the Niessa Rivers, including Stettin and Preslao within (Polish borders.
The correspondent continues: Russia intends to keep Koenigsberg,- in East F'russia, and the , contiguous territory of' East Prussia as an icefree Baltic naval base.
