Student dental nurses are accommodated at hostels associated with the Training School, and due care is given to their health and welfare. SALARY: (a) Student dental nurses receive £75 p.a. while training, and those whose home is not in Wellington receive in addition a lodging allowance of £4O p.a. (b) On completion of training, the commencing salary for .a school dental nurse is £195 p.a. increas'ng over a period of seven years to £250 p.a. Further promotion to positions as Dental Tutor Sisters and Dental Nurse Inspectors is available to nurses of suitable experience and ability.
