LEAGUE FOOTBALL
TO-MORROW'S GAMES The main seriior competition has concluded and Blackball have been declared the winners. No. teem could win by a larger margin, for them were unbeaten in every game, and verv rarely was the score a close one. To-morrow a one-round comuetition will start, and the public will be given an opportunity of seeing Blackball in action .at Wingham Park, where they will . meet Marist. At their last meeting Blackball won by over 50 points and it is hard to see fewer points being scored to-morrow, though in the early stages of last week’s game Marist played well. They do not seem to go so well in the final stages of a game, and that is where Blackball, .with theft exceptional fitness excell. The other senior fixture will be .a good even one, with Ruhahga looking the likeliest prospect. They are a good. team, but Brunner is capable of stiff opposition arid, has played some excellent football during the season. They will be on their home ground and may prove hard to beat. Junior games will take place at Wingham Park and at Pcunanga, while fourth grade fixtures will be played at Runanga anu Brunner.
