FLYING BOMBS
(Rec 12.40) LONDON, Aug. 16 For a short period, around midnight on Tuesday and just before dawn, on Wednesday, the Germans launched flying bombs against the southern counties of England, including the London area, causing damages and casualties. The attacks were resumed on Wednesday after dawn.
