WEDDING
HONEY—HAHN. The wedding lock place recently at Holy Trinity Church of Eileen Daphne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hahn, Moana, to Arthur Redmond, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Honey, Kaimata.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of cream, magnolia satin, cut on slim-fitting lines, the v-neck line and train of which were embroidered in eyelets. The tulle veil was embroidered around the edges with satin leaves and was held in place with a top-knot of cream velvet roses. The bouquet wa’s of cream chrysanthemums, freesias, and maiden-hair fern. Misses Jean Dreckman, Hokitika, and Isobel Crawford, Greymouth were bridesmaids, wearing frocks of buttercup yellow organdi trimmed with green lace and flat hats of green ne J i, rimm ed on the crown with velvet flowers. Their bouquets were of yellow and organdi spring flowers. Messrs Jack and Percival Honey, brothers of the bridegroom, were best man and;.groomsman respectively. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a horseshoe by Mabme Grant, neice of the bridegroom.
The, reception was held at Herb’ Moore’s* tea-rooms, where the guests were received by the bride’s mother, who worg. a black frock and hat and a shoulder spray of freesias and maid-en-hair fern. She was assisted by the bridegroom’s mother, who wore a navy costume and a pink spray. Mr. and Mrs. Honey later left by rail-car for a tour of the North Island, the bride travelling in a grey and blue checked suit, with black accessories.
