RUGBY FOOTBALL

REEFTON COMPETITION. A Junior competition commenced at Reefton on Saturday, when an Air Training Corns team defeated Reefton District High 'School by 22 points to 6. . In an onen game the weight and experience of the A.T.C. proved the deciding factor. Tries were scored for A.T.C. bv Quinn, Palmer and Hunt, and for School by Auld and Hannah. Palmer and Quinn were the best of a good line of A.T.C. backs, while Hunt and Coghlan were conspicuous in the forwards. In the School team Nicholls and Sdcock in the forwards, and M. iPanckhurst and J. Panckhurst in the backs showed promising form. Mr. J. Crossman was referee.

Next Sunday A.T.C. will plav Warntah, and an even game should result.
