CHANGE IN RUSSIA

On Religious Issues FATHER ORELMANSKI’S CLAIM.

(Rec. 10.10) NEW YORK, May 21. Rev. Father Orelmanski, the Polish priest, who left America and visited M. Stalin in Moscow, celebrated two Masses on Sunday, for the first time since his suspension, following his visit to Moscow. He did not preach ior refer to his trip or the suspension, since removed.

After the services he told the press: “It is disheartening to see how slow Catholics are to grasp the full significance of what I have been doing. It is apparently, difficult for them to believe that Russia actually is turnin from black to white regarding religious issues.”
